Founded in 2001, Allagour Construction's main business centres on domestic and commercial building projects. The two founding Directors have over 40 years combined building experience. With backgrounds in carpentry, groundwork and construction technology this team is well equipped to manage your project requirements, whether they are construction or energy based projects. Allagour Construction’s completion of high quality building projects is evidenced by the fact that they were the main contractor for projects awarded the following:

• RIAI Award for Best House in Ireland 2013,
• The Wood Awards Best Private Dwelling 2014.
In 2007, Allagour Construction branched into the area of Renewable Energy, as a future with environmentally sustainable practices is an important component of the company’s ethos. Initially, projects were completed on a domestic, agricultural and commercial scale through the use of Biomass, wind turbines, photovoltaic and water turbines.
More recent projects include combined heat and power (CHP), district heating, remote battery storage for community energy sharing (including SMART metering and networking), and battery storage for grid stability and “demand response power”. Allagour Construction was the main contractor construction stage for the “Tallaght Smart Grid Test Bed” for phases 1, 2 and 3.
Allagour Construction’s vision is to reduce Ireland’s importation of fossil fuels by bringing modern energy solutions to the traditional and passive construction of Smart low carbon communities.
